LUFTHANSA CARGO re-confirmed its intention to order more freighters, and said the decision of which type will be made by the end of March. The carrier’s VP Americas Achim Martinka was recently quoted in Flight International as saying the carrier would add six freighters to its existing 18-unit MD-11F fleet by 2015, and that the choice was between 777Fs and freighter-converted 747-400Fs.
