Malcolm Macbeth, senior vice president of global air fleet management for DHL Express, will join Cargo Facts Symposium 2023 for a fireside chat about the freighter market on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 2:45 p.m. (GMT -5).

The 29th annual Cargo Facts Symposium 2023 will take place Oct. 25-27 at the Omni Hotel in San Diego, where industry leaders will gather to share their insights and provide analysis on developing market trends while providing an outlook on the air cargo industry in the Americas and around the world.

DHL is the largest operator of A330-300P2Fs with eleven across Air Hong Kong, ASL Airlines Ireland and EAT Leipzig. The express integrator recently listed the only three Pratt & Whitney PW4000-powered A330-300P2Fs (units 116, 127 and 231) for sale as it seeks to replace older freighters currently in service.

DHL’s Bahrain-based airline retired the last 767-200F from its fleet in May, when unit 22790 was returned off lease to Cargo Aircraft Management. This completed DHL International’s transition to 767-300Fs.

Meanwhile, in the large-widebody segment, DHL has reached a deal with Jetran to acquire nine 777-200LRs that will undergo conversion with Mammoth Freighters.

Macbeth has been with the DHL group for thirty-four years, joining the DHL subsidiary Elan International in 1988. He served in the network planning department for the express company before being appointed to his current position in September 2022.

Cargo Facts Symposium, taking place Oct. 25-27 at the Omni San Diego, is the essential event for stakeholders in the freighter and air cargo industry.
