Aero Capital Solutions’ Paterson joins Cargo Facts EMEA 2024
Derek Paterson, vice president of sales and leasing for the EMEA region at Aero Capital Solutions, will join Cargo Facts EMEA 2024 for the panel discussion “Freighter finance and leasing: To lease or to purchase?” on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 11:15 (GMT +1).
The sixth annual Cargo Facts EMEA event takes place Feb. 5-7 at the Hilton Amsterdam, where industry leaders will gather to share their outlooks on the air cargo sector in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Paterson was appointed vice president of EMEA sales and leasing in 2018. He previously served as sales director for MTU Maintenance, as well as positions at Rolls-Royce and Rolls-Royce Aero Engine Services.
ACS is the largest customer of AEI’s 737-800SF with forty firm conversion slots and has placed aircraft with multiple operators including iAero, Rimbun Air, Northern Air Cargo and BAE systems.
The lessor has also entered the A321F market, taking redelivery of its first A321-200P2F in March 2023 after reaching a sale, conversion and leaseback deal with Latvia-based SmartLynx in 2022. The two parties later strengthened their relationship by reaching a lease deal for three more A321 freighters.
