SAN DIEGO – While recent redeliveries of ATR conversions have been predominantly destined for operators in Europe and the U.S., one notable exception was Philippines-based Cebu Pacific, which received its first ATR 72-500F in July 2019, converted by IPR Conversions. The airline is expecting a second freighter-converted ATR 72-500F by the end of the year. Both aircraft were previously in passenger service with Cebu Pacific.
At Cargo Facts Symposium 2019, Gilles Collaveri, asset manager and freighter director at ATR, shared his views on the market potential of ATR freighters.
