Cargo Facts is pleased to announce that Dave Andrew, group chief executive of Ireland-based ASL Aviation Holdings, will join Cargo Facts Symposium 2020, a virtual event on Oct. 27-28, to speak in a session titled “Narrowbody freighters: Prospects for conversion and fleet expansion.”

This virtual panel will take place from 11-11:45 a.m. EST on Wednesday, Oct. 28. Andrew joins Richard Greener, senior vice president and manager of GECAS Cargo; Stefan Kageman, senior vice president of marketing at Vx Capital Partners; and Tracy Medve, president of KF Aerospace.

Andrew was appointed to his current role in July 2020. Prior to that he had been ASL’s chief executive of Africa, Asia and leasing since 2016.

Consisting of six airlines, ASL is a major player in the European cargo market, flying a range of freighter aircraft on behalf of express integrators. Last June, ASL ordered ten 737-800BCF conversions and options for ten more from Boeing, after taking delivery of two leased from GECAS in late 2018. The group’s airlines also operate more than fifty 737-300Fs and 737-400Fs, as well as ATR 42Fs and ATR 72Fs.

Cargo Facts Symposium is the leading airfreight conference, and it remains vitally crucial to the industry during the COVID-19 crisis. This year’s virtual event runs on a digital platform that allows for panels, live discussion and Q&A, as well as one-on-one networking. More information, along with the complete conference agenda, can be found here.
