Russia and Hong Kong renegotiated their bilateral air services agreement to allow Russian carriers authority to operate flights between Hong Kong and any two intermediate points chosen from Almaty, Bangkok, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, and Singapore. The revised agreement allows for up to three flights per week per point, in each direction. Russian carriers were also granted beyond rights from Hong Kong to Anchorage for up to five weekly flights in each direction.
At present, Moscow-based AirBridgeCargo is the only Russian all-cargo carrier serving Hong Kong.
