Singapore Airlines was one of the earliest customers to commit to Airbus’ new A350F program and will be the launch operator of the type in 2026. The carrier firmed up a deal with Airbus in February 2022 for seven A350Fs as it transitions its operations from seven production 747-400Fs.

In addition to its own freighter fleet, Singapore Airlines began operating its fifth 777F in December 2023 on behalf of DHL, after reaching a deal in 2022 with the express company to provide CMI service.

Tan became senior vice president of cargo on June 1, 2023. Before joining Singapore Airlines in 1996, he served as chief executive of subsidiary SilkAir and was the board director for Virgin Australia Holdings and Scoot.

Cargo Facts Asia will assemble industry leaders and executives to share their insights on the air cargo sector in the Asia-Pacific region while providing attendees a forum to engage with key decision-makers.
