Session 1 at Cargo Facts EMEA 2020, presented Feb. 4 in Frankfurt last year.

The event offers attendees exclusive access to market insights from leading global executives in logistics and aviation across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The virtual format allows time for networking opportunities before, during and after the event, as well as the option to view session recordings on-demand.

The past year has elicited many challenges and shifts in market dynamics within the air cargo industry — carriers experienced decreased bellyhold capacity due to restrictions on passenger flights, while e-commerce and demand for pharmaceuticals and medical equipment surged. The upheaval required operators to explore temporary measures to boost cargo capacity and has sparked increased market interest in freighter conversions. This year’s sessions will explore topics relevant to the current state of air freight as well as long-term prospects and opportunities. Additionally, regionally focused sessions will welcome industry leaders from the EMEA and Gulf regions to discuss the market particularities and long-term demand for freighter aircraft.

Once again, Cargo Facts EMEA will also host the DEMOvation Challenge, where selected startups in the air cargo industry showcase their innovative technologies.
