IndiGo is the only A321 freighter operator in India and took delivery of its third A321-200P2F in November 2023. The 2009-vintage aircraft was the first A321F AerCap delivered on lease to any carrier after the lessor placed an order with EFW in 2022 for fifteen conversion slots with an option for fifteen more.

The India-based airline leased its first two A321-200P2Fs from Castlelake.

Sutch recently told Cargo Facts that IndiGo is happy with three A321P2Fs and does not plan to add more.

Sutch was appointed chief commercial officer of international cargo at IndiGo in March 2023 and became the head of the cargo division later that year. He previously served with Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific for more than seventeen years and assumed the responsibility of managing the South Asia, Middle East and Africa regions.

Cargo Facts Asia will assemble industry leaders and executives to share their insight on the air cargo sector in the Asia-Pacific region while providing attendees a forum to engage with key decision-makers.
