LATAM Cargo operates the largest widebody freighter fleet in Latin America and expects to take redelivery of its final two 767-300BCFs this year , completing its ten-unit conversion order with Boeing.

The airline remains focused on strengthening its core route structure to maximize efficiency while evaluating potential niche markets.

“Some of the routes we’ve recently opened are to secondary cities where the 767 is able to get the right economics that are not available to larger aircraft,” Bianchi told Cargo Facts last year. “On some long-haul routes especially, we are catering to certain sets of origins and destinations that are relevant to the shippers and the forwarders, which wouldn’t be available if we were flying larger aircraft.”

Bianchi joined LATAM Cargo in 2010 and became CEO in 2017. Previously, he served as LATAM Cargo’s vice president of finance, senior vice president of network and other roles. He brings eighteen years of experience.

Cargo Facts LATAM will provide attendees a forum to engage with key decision-makers in the air cargo market in the Latin American region.
