Alastair Willson, managing director of Titan Airways UK and Malta, will serve as a panelist at Cargo Facts EMEA 2022 for a discussion on narrowbody freighters with other industry leaders on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
Cargo Facts EMEA will take place live May 9-11 in Dubai for the first time.
In recent months, Titan has grown its narrowbody fleet with several acquisitions and conversions. The carrier recently told Cargo Facts that it will grow its A321F fleet to five aircraft with the conversions of two more of its own units (3708 and 3749). Titan currently has one A321 already in conversion with EFW.
Titan Airways discussed its intention to convert additional A321P2Fs at Cargo Facts EMEA 2020.
Across its two air operator certificates (AOCs), Titan Airways operates a fleet of fifteen aircraft, including an A330-300P2F, two A321-200P2Fs a 737-400SF. Titan’s latest A321 conversions are set to join in 2022 and 2023.
Titan’s fleet has drawn the eye of companies like U.S.-based Amerijet, which wet-leased Titan’s first two A321-200P2Fs in 2021.
Willson, whose father founded Titan Airways, has worked with the airline for seven years, first as an assistant director at Stansted Airport. Willson previously worked for Air Partner as a trading manager.
