Cargo Facts is pleased to announce that Tatyana Arslanova, executive operating officer of the Volga-Dnepr Group, has joined the Cargo Facts Symposium 2020 speaker faculty. Arslanova will join other distinguished industry peers on a virtual roundtable session titled, “Refiling air cargo’s flight plan: Growth opportunities and obstacles in airfreight,” on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 11:45 a.m. EST.
Cargo Facts Symposium is the leading airfreight conference, and it remains vitally crucial to the industry during the COVID-19 crisis. This year’s virtual event runs Oct. 27-28 on a digital platform that allows for panels, live discussion and Q&A, as well as one-on-one networking. More information, along with the complete conference agenda, is available here, on the conference website.
Arslanova started her career with the group in 1995 and has held roles spanning sales, marketing and management functions. She was appointed to the role of executive operating officer in March and now leads operations management across all Volga-Dnepr companies.
Although the weaknesses in the general cargo market which surfaced in late 2018 and accelerated last year threatened to derail Volga-Dnepr’s ambitious growth targets, the pandemic has been a stabilizing factor. While new freighter deliveries were on hold at the onset of the crisis in February, AirBridgeCargo appears to now be moving forward with plans to add its first 777F. The aircraft was spotted at Boeing’s Everett (PAE) facility earlier this month.
