Beta Technologies concluded 2023 by reaching a deal with Air New Zealand for one Alia conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) aircraft for cargo operations. The carrier told Cargo Facts it also holds an option for two more Alia CTOLs, along with rights to purchase an additional twenty aircraft and their configurations at the time of purchase.

Beta has also signed a deal with Houston-based Bristow Group, which in 2022 ordered five Alia cargo eVTOL aircraft with an option for fifty more, and an order from UPS.
