ST Engineering’s Tan to join Cargo Facts Asia 2024

Eng Shu Tan, ST Engineering’s executive vice president and head of aerospace MRO, will join Cargo Facts Asia 2024 for the panel discussion “MRO Asia: Trends, opportunities and best practices” on Tuesday, April 16, at 13:30 (UTC +8).

The twelfth annual event takes place April 15-17 at the Conrad Centennial Singapore, where industry leaders will gather to share their outlook on the air cargo sector in the Asia-Pacific region.

ST Engineering is the majority owner of EFW and recently converted the three EFW A330-300P2F conversion at the STARCO MRO facilities located in Shanghai’s Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) and Pudong International Airport (PVG).

STARCO is a joint venture between ST Engineering and China Eastern Airlines.

ST also owns facilities in the United States. The group completed the first A330-300P2F conversion at its Mobile Aerospace Engineering facility in Mobile, Ala. (BFM), in October 2023 and has four A330s awaiting conversion there.

Tan, who has been at the company for 13 years, assumed his current role in 2021; he previously served as assistant general manager at ST Aerospace Services.

Cargo Facts Asia 2024 will assemble industry leaders and executives to share their insights on the air cargo sector in the Asia-Pacific region while providing attendees with a forum to engage with key decision-makers.
