AirBridge Cargo update — 747-8F delivery deferred

Boeing has flown the fourth 747-8F ordered by Moscow-based Volga-Dnepr Group for scheduled-service subsidiary AirBridge Cargo to Marana Air Park (MZJ) in the Arizona desert.

The flight was made with a Boeing code, not an AirBridge code, confirming our speculation this morning that Volga-Dnepr was negotiating a deferral of delivery for the fourth and fifth of the five 747-8 Freighters it had ordered.

This morning’s blog on the subject is here.
