When we checked in at Paine field (PAE) back in September, we mentioned that the first 747-8f for Air Bridge had made it to the flight line but had not yet been painted. Now it’s in full colors – though like all the non-test 748fs it is still waiting for engines and completion.
VQ-BGZ (msn: 37580) is the first of five 748f’s for the Russian carrier, though Air Bridge has options for five more.
Air Bridge currently operates 10 747s, seven -400s, two -200s (one of which is the final 747-200, msn: 25171) and a lone -300 (msn: 24837, originally delivered to Sabena as a -300M with a rear cargo door and oddly enough, the final -300).
In the background is Korean Air Cargo’s second 748f, HL7610 (msn: 37133), also awaiting engines on the flight line.
