Toshiya Tamada, executive vice president of global marketing and sales at ANA Cargo, has joined the Cargo Facts Asia 2021 speaker faculty.
Tamada, along with three other executives, will speak on a virtual roundtable panel addressing the role of freighters in Asian e-commerce logistics.
The session will be available on demand from Tuesday, April 21, during this year’s virtual presentation of Cargo Facts Asia.

ANA Cargo has been ramping up cargo-only flying in recent months as international passenger flights to and from Japan remain in stasis due to COVID-related travel restrictions. The carrier expects to operate a record number of cargo-only flights this month with 2,349 freighter and all-cargo flights utilizing passenger aircraft on its March schedule.
ANA introduced its two 777Fs in 2019, enabling trans-Pacific freighter operations to Chicago (ORD). Beginning April 23, ANA will add Los Angeles (LAX) as a second scheduled destination in the United States.
In addition to the pair of 777Fs, ANA Cargo operates four 767-300Fs and five 767-300BCFs in an Asia-centric network that is now based in Tokyo (NRT) rather than Okinawa (OKA).
Toshiya Tamada joined ANA in 1986 and has been working at the airline for over thirty years, in roles including district cargo manager in Taiwan and vice president of cargo in Asia in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Cargo Facts Asia will take place April 20-21 as a virtual experience. To learn more, and register, visit www.cargofactsasia.com.
