DHL Express began an enhanced service, called DHL Medical Express (WMX) between Mexico and the United States for its customers in the pharmaceutical and clinical research sectors. DHL WMX was piloted last year in Mexico as an expansion of the program that began in Colombia in 2014, and offers shippers the ability to transport urgent pharma and biomedical shipments from several major cities in Mexico including Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey, to most US destinations in less than twenty-four hours using DHL Express’ own transportation network.

Services offered under DHL WMX include dry ice and temperature-controlled packaging fulfillment, the ability to book shipments and order supplies via online tools, and its web-based Express Logistics Platform interface. DHL WMX’s specialized customer service center also features bilingual representatives.

DHL’s Medical Express Service began in Colombia in 2014 and has expanded to Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama, and Peru. DHL WMX is scheduled to expand its service into Brazil and other markets within Mexico soon.
