Attendees at the 2013 Cargo Facts Asia Symposium in Hong Kong will be treated to exclusive tours of the cargo handling terminals of DHL and Hactl, ACMG and Cargo Facts announced today.

The tours, which will take place on April 17, will conclude with a reception at Hactl hosted by Hactl and Mark Whitehead, Chief Executive Officer of the massive cargo handling terminal company. According to Hactl, its SuperTerminal 1 alone processed 2.7 million tonnes of cargo in 2012.

The DHL tour will take place at the express company’s Hong Kong hub.

“We are delighted to support this important event again in 2013,” Whitehead said. “It should provide valuable insight into the future of Asia Pacific air cargo, and its impact on aircraft design, conversion and choice – particularly in the beleaguered freighter sector. We again welcome ACMG and the conference delegates to our operation, and hope they will find the tour an enlightening aspect of the event.”

ACMG thanks Hactl and DHL for opening their facilities to Cargo Facts Asia attendees.
