Yesterday we saw 227 commercial jet orders announced, and today this was followed with the announcement of 258 more, plus 37 orders for commercial turboprop aircraft, bringing the total to 522 orders. None of the aircraft ordered were freighters, but the day did feature the first ever delivery of an Airbus A330-200F, to launch customer Etihad Airways.
