DHL placed a firm order with PRECISION CONVERSIONS for the conversion of a 757-200 to 15-pallet PCF freighter configuration. Precision inducted the 1992-build ex-Air Greenland, Rolls-powered aircraft (25620) at FLIGHTSTAR AIRCRAFT SERVICES’ Jacksonville facility at the end of March, with redelivery to end user TASMAN CARGO AIRLINES scheduled for June.

This will be the sixth 757-200PCF conversion Precision has performed for DHL, and its 29th 757-200PCF overall. Sydney-based Tasman Cargo currently operates a single 757-200F (24268) for DHL.

Those interested in an in-depth analysis of the freighter conversion market for both narrowbody and widebody aircraft should join us at this year’s ACMG Air Cargo Workshop in Atlanta on May 2 and 3. For more information, or to register, go to www.acmgworkshop.com.
