Seen here at Schiphol, Cargoair’s LZ-CGO (msn: 23237) is one of two brightly hued 737-300 freighters operated by the Bulgarian Cargo carrier (the other is LZ-CGP, msn: 23970). Both were converted by AEI. Both freighters were converted by Aeronautical Engineers, Inc.
LZ-CGO/23237 was originally delivered to Piedmont as N320P, during a period of great expansion prior to Piedmont’s marriage to USAir.
Contributor Yves Hameleers spied the aircraft on a visit to Schiphol. Cargoair flies charter cargo flights all over Europe and into the Middle East.
