China Cargo Airlines took delivery of their first of six 777LRFs back in February of 2010, and is now operating five of the new freighters, with the latest delivered just last month. Cargo Facts spied the sixth and (thus far) final aircraft for “Cargo King” returning from its first flight, a two-hour round robin from and back to Paine field, on July 21. The six 777LRFs replaced MD-11Fs and also join two 747-400 freighters in the carrier’s fleet.
China Cargo Airlines’ former MD-11Fs are now with Sky Lease Cargo.
Though we don’t yet have a photo of it, the 777LRF gained a new operator last week as well, with TNT taking delivery of its first aircraft of the type.
