Today, Poland-based airline LOT Cargo said it has chosen Luxembourg-based IT company CHAMP to implement its air cargo management software into LOT’s operations. The carrier will utilize the quote transaction platform and artificial-intelligence-based data analytics module of the suite.

LOT connects major European cities to hubs in the United States and Canada, and plans to expand its trans-Atlantic network, according to a carrier statement. At present, its fleet consists of eight 737s, eleven 787s and 28 Embraers. The carrier has ordered four more 787s in anticipation of its network expansions.

Since its conception, CHAMP has been working with industry leaders to develop the scope of its products to appeal to the air cargo community.

Japan Airlines and Iceland Air are some of its larger clients, the former of which CHAMP has been working with for over four years. In March, CHAMP announced a new partnership with Cargo Community System Japan Co. (CCSJ) to design a cloud-based messaging platform to address the needs of the Japanese cargo community.
