Bill Tarpley, co-CEO of Mammoth Freighters, will join Cargo Facts Symposium 2022 for the panel discussion “777 vs A350 and the future of the large-widebody market” on Friday, Oct. 21, at 9:05 a.m. PT.

Cargo Facts Symposium, the essential event for stakeholders in the air cargo industry, returns Oct. 19-21 at the InterContinental San Diego.

Mammoth Freighters is one of three conversion houses developing supplemental type certificates (STCs) for the Boeing 777. Earlier this year, the company inducted its first conformity aircraft at the new Aspire MRO facility at Fort Worth Alliance Airport (AFW), generating interest from customers like Saudia, which ordered seven firm conversions with an option for five more. Saudia joined Cargojet to become the second known customer of Mammoth Freighters.

In June, Mammoth paired up with Collins Aerospace to provide the cargo loading system for its 777 conversions.

Tarpley brings thirty-five years of experience in freighter aircraft conversions, including twenty at Boeing as a design engineer and program manager. He has experience on every aircraft model designed by both Boeing and McDonnell Douglas, where he served as program manager for the certification of the MD-10 and 767 P2F programs. Tarpey has also served as chief operations officer for ATSG’s Cargo Aircraft Management and as president of Creative Conversion Management, managing conversions of 767s and 757s.

Since 1994, Cargo Facts Symposium has been the premier airfreight event of the year, and it remains a vital source of information and connection for the industry. The 2022 Symposium will once again bring together an exclusive group of aircraft lessors, service providers and operators.
