Martin Drew, chief strategy and transformation officer at Atlas Air Worldwide, will join Cargo Facts Symposium 2026 for a fireside chat to discuss issues facing the freighter and airfreight industries on Friday, Oct. 23, at 9:45 a.m. (GMT -5).

The 32nd annual Cargo Facts Symposium will take place Oct. 21-23 at the Grand Hyatt in Nashville, Tenn., where industry leaders and decision-makers will gather to assess the latest trends and developments in the freighter sector, while sharing their insights to project the market’s growth trajectory.

Drew was appointed to his role in September 2023. He has served in leadership positions with multiple carriers in the air cargo sector for more than twenty-two years, including as senior vice president of global sales and cargo at Etihad Airways and vice president of cargo at Jet Airways.
Atlas, the world’s largest 747 freighter operator, will expand into Airbus widebodies, announcing in March it had placed an order for at least twenty A350Fs. This is Atlas’ largest order ever and the largest order for the A350F program to date.
Atlas expanded its presence in Europe in August when it acquired a 49% stake in Air Atlanta, parent of Air Atlanta Icelandic and Malta-based Air Atlanta Europe. As part of the transaction, Atlas’ Titan Aviation Holdings subsidiary acquired the aircraft owned by the Air Atlanta group of companies and entered into a long-term leasing agreement with Air Atlanta, which will continue to operate the aircraft.
