Yesterday, Illinois based SEKO Logistics acquired a majority stake in its partner of five years, Australia-based Omni-Channel Logistics, which offers global fulfillment and delivery management solutions for retail and e-commerce shippers.

Omni-Channel Logistics was established in 2013 to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and major brands in Australia and New Zealand reach cross-border e-commerce markets, notably those in Asia, the United States and Europe.

“We have a great partner in SEKO and this acquisition will be instrumental in assisting SEKO Omni-Channel Logistics’ continued growth in key e-commerce markets around the world,” said Justin Irvine, commercial director Asia Pacific, SEKO Omni-Channel Logistics.

Since its conception in 2013, Omni-Channel has focused on cross-border e-commerce and global returns solutions, integrating IT-services with fulfillment, e.g. international tracking – regardless of final mile postal carrier – and advisement on digital marketing strategies, like reducing cart abandonment rates. Together, the companies will continue to integrate these capabilities across SEKO’s global network.
