Responding to increasing demand for inventory in Asia, aerospace logistics firm B&H Worldwide is opening a new forward stocking location (FSL) on behalf of FL Technics at Singapore Changi Airport (SIN).

B&H has built up its Singapore location as a strategic hub for its Asian operations. The B&H location, within SIN’s Airport Logistics Park of Singapore (ALSP) Free Trade Zone, provides additional capacity within a climate-controlled facility, where operations run on the company’s OnTrack system – a web-based IT platform that provides real-time visibility and interaction for customers with their cargo operations.

Lithuania-based FL Technics is a global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, and operates more than 30 subsidiaries globally. It is a current B&H customer at London Heathrow Airport (LHR), and soon Singapore.

The new FSL facility will be built upon the already established systems, B&H said, and is expected to be fully operational during fourth-quarter 2018.
