Cargo executives from Emirates, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways have joined the Cargo Facts EMEA 2021 speaker faculty and will share their insights on a virtual roundtable discussion on the topic of Gulf region capacity and market opportunities.

The session will be broadcast live on Thursday, June 3 from 13:00-13:45 (UTC+2) on Thursday, June 3, during this year’s virtual presentation of Cargo Facts EMEA.

The panelists include:

  • Faisal Karamat, Vice President Customer Experience, Qatar Airways Cargo;
  • Hiran Perera, Senior Vice President Cargo Planning and Freighters, Emirates; and
  • Leonard Rodrigues, Head of Revenue Management and Network Planning, Etihad Cargo.

While all three are major global cargo players and have the 777F forming the backbone of their freighter operations, the three carriers also have extensive belly networks, with more cargo-friendly 777Xs and A350s yet to join their passenger fleets.

Speakers will discuss the evolving role of freighters vis-a-vis the passenger bellyhold, and will assess how to position incoming equipment to target emerging opportunities across the region, among other topics.

Cargo Facts EMEA will take place June 2-3 as a virtual experience. To learn more, and register, visit www.cargofactsemea.com.
