Peter Gerber, CEO, Lufthansa Cargo

Cargo Facts is delighted that Peter Gerber, CEO and chairman of the executive board at Lufthansa Cargo, will be speaking at Cargo Facts EMEA 2020 in an exclusive fireside chat. We’re also pleased to announce that Lufthansa Cargo is our host airline partner for the event, which will be held in Frankfurt in February.

Gerber has led Lufthansa Cargo since May 2014. Over the past few years, the German carrier has undergone a major restructuring process which included, among other moves, a rigorous cost-reduction program and new digitalization initiatives. During the one-on-one fireside chat, Gerber will share his perspectives on a variety of issues, including the state of the overall air freight industry and innovation, as well as Lufthansa’s recently confirmed decision on an accelerated freighter fleet renewal plan.

Gerber has worked in a number of different positions at Lufthansa, on both the cargo and passenger sides, having joined the group in 1992.

Cargo Facts EMEA 2020 will also feature speakers from other carriers such as Air France-KLM, ASL Airlines, EgyptAir, Emirates, IAG Cargo and Turkish Airlines. The full agenda for the event is here.

Join us Feb. 3-5 for Cargo Facts EMEA 2020, the event serving as an international platform providing attendees with a direct connection to leading EMEA innovation executives. To register and for more information about the event, visit www.cargofactsemea.com.
