The lineup of air cargo industry visionaries speaking at the Cargo Facts Asia 2019 conference in Shanghai has grown to include Andy Vargoczky, SVP, Sales & Marketing, Asia-Pacific at Agility; Toshiya Tamada, EVP, Global Sales at ANA Cargo; and Kersti Krepp, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Asia-Pacific with Polar Air Cargo Worldwide.
Andy Vargoczky heads Agility’s commercial business unit for the Asia-Pacific region. Before his current role, he spent ten years at DB Schenker in leadership roles for sales and marketing for regions including Australia and New Zealand, India, Thailand, the Middle East and Africa. Vargoczvky earlier was a Commercial Director for AirBridgeCargo and head of sales and operations for New Zealand with Lufthansa Cargo. He will join the panel discussion, “Asia’s Emerging Markets: Air Cargo’s Next Frontiers.”
Tamada joined ANA in 1986 and has been working for the airline for over 30 years, with a majority of that time spent working in international air cargo. He assumed the current position in April 2017 and is now responsible for the airline’s sales activities across the world. He will join the panel discussion, “Gateways and Trade Lanes: An Update on Asian Infrastructure Development.”
Krepp is based in Hong Kong and is responsible for all Polar activities in the Asia-Pacific region, including China, Japan and South Korea. She has held her current position since 2002, and before that spent eleven years with Evergreen International Airlines, where she rose to the position of SVP for Asia. She also founded and was Chief Operating Officer at V-Logic, an international logistics and chain management provider. She will speak on the panel, “Asia, International Trade and The Global Economy: Implications for Air Freight.”
