Logwin opens 19th operation in Germany

Worldwide logistics company Logwin opened an air and ocean office in Mannheim, making this the company’s 19^th office in Germany, following the opening of offices in Erfurt and Leipzig last year. “The main reason for opening the new office was to be close to our air and ocean customers” said Stefan Schwind, head of Logwin Air + Ocean Deutschland.

Logwin has had an office for contract logistics in Mannheim for many years. Customers from the consumer and chemical industries will be served through a 20,000-square-meter, multi-user warehouse and high rack system capable of holding approximately 16,000 pallets. The existing IT systems link new customers immediately to the global Logwin network. Shipments and other transport services can then be processed and the latest shipment status can be accessed at any time.
