CargoAi expands CMA CGM Air Cargo partnership with digital allotment booking

Singapore-based CargoAi has expanded its collaboration with CMA CGM Air Cargo, making the carrier’s capacity allotments bookable through CargoMART, the technology company’s rate management and e-booking platform. The move allows CMA CGM Air Cargo and its freight forwarder customers to manage recurring capacity agreements through a structured, flight-by-flight digital workflow rather than manual email-based processes, CargoAi said in a release today. For forwarders managing capacity across multiple airlines, CargoMART provides a standardized process that allows users to submit one allotment file across participating carriers instead of maintaining separate processes for each airline. The system reduces repetitive booking and follow-up work through automated booking confirmations and real-time status updates. Forwarders also receive structured access to capacity covered by allotments, BSAs and other recurring booking agreements. Through CargoMART’s Strategic Hub AI platform, CMA CGM Air Cargo and forwarders can access reports covering allocation utilization, quality and price competitiveness. CargoAi said sharing the data should give both sides greater visibility into performance and support more fact-based discussions about managing allocations and pre-bookings. “Allotment and recurring booking automation are some of the clearest examples of how digitization removes friction from air cargo without changing the commercial agreements airlines and forwarders already have in place,” CargoAi founder and Chief Executive Matt Petot said in the release. CMA CGM Air Cargo joins other airlines, including Emirates SkyCargo , that are already using CargoAi technology to automate recurring capacity management, the company said.
