The updated Airbus order and delivery summary through 30 June shows a number of changes regarding the A330-200F. Two of the freighters were delivered last month to BOC Aviation, one for end-user Yangtze River Express (its first A330-200F) and the second for end-user Hong Kong Airlines (its fourth A330-200F). Noteworthy is the removal from the backlog of an order for six A330-200Fs from Matlin Paterson (majority owner of Global Aviation Holdings, the parent of World Airways). Global is undergoing financial restructuring under Chapter 11 of the U.S. bankruptcy code. The Airbus order book now shows 52 firm orders for the A330-200F, with 13 delivered and a backlog of 39 units.
