According to a report in ch-aviation, Shenzhen-based SF Express signed a partnership agreement with the Beijing Capital International Airport Co, under which SF will enhance its route network through the use of the Airport’s logistics warehouse facilities.

The report says that SF’s long-term goal is to use its new Beijing hub as “a primary distribution centre for both the Beijing and North China markets.” The company’s airline subsidiary SF Airlines currently operates nine 757-200Fs, three 737-400Fs, and five 737-300Fs, and has announced orders for three more 757-200 P-to-F conversions. However, Cargo Facts believes SF has unannounced orders for both 757 and 737 conversions, and senior executives are on record as saying the fleet will soon expand to include widebody freighters.
