Intradco packs up a dozen alpacas

Intradco Global transported 12 alpacas from Germany (HHN) to Azerbaijan (GYD). Of the 12, nine were females, two of which had weaning young, and one male, weighing a total of 1,500 kilograms. To ensure the five-hour flight was comfortable and safe for the alpacas, the Intradco team built a separate crate for the male and separated the cria, or young alpaca, from the rest of the group. In Azerbaijan, the alpacas’ hypoallergenic wool will be used for clothing production. In their new home, the alpacas will have plenty of space to roam, ensuring they live a long and wool-y good life!
