Since joining Airbus in 1995, Hamilton has served in various marketing roles, including head of A330 marketing and head of twin aisle marketing, before assuming his current position in January 2020. Prior to Airbus, he held positions at Dan-Air Engineering and aerospace company McDonnell Douglas.
After its official launch in summer 2021, the A350 freighter program has attracted orders and commitments from Etihad, Silk Way West, Air France, Singapore Airlines, CMA CGM and Air Lease Corporation. The next-generation widebody freighter aircraft is scheduled to have its first deliveries in 2025.
Of the initial orders, Singapore Airlines will be using the A350F as a replacement for the 747-400F. At the Farnborough International Airshow 2022, potential 777-8F customer Ethiopian Airlines, which has a memorandum of understanding with Boeing, said it is still considering the A350F as an option.
Since 1994, Cargo Facts Symposium has been the premier air freight event of the year, and it remains a vital source of information and connection for the industry. The 2022 Symposium will once again bring together an exclusive group of aircraft lessors, service providers, and operators.
