Crawford Hamilton, head of freighter marketing at Airbus, will join Cargo Facts Symposium 2021 to discuss the upcoming A350F and the planemaker’s new freighter strategy.
Hamilton joins speakers from Boeing, IAI and Volga-Dnepr Group on a panel titled, “Carrying the future: Next-generation widebody prospects and strategies,” scheduled for 11:45 am on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at the Wynn Las Vegas.
Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury announced at the end of July 2021 that the board of directors had given its approval for the company to proceed with developing the new-build freighter, but Airbus has yet to identify a launch customer or disclose the detailed specifications of the aircraft.
During the session, the panelists will look at the characteristics of next-generation replacements and how these new freighters will fit into the market.
Hamilton was previously in charge of marketing A330s, including the production A330-200F, and has also led marketing for Airbus in the Pacific region. He holds a Masters degree in air transport from Cranfield University.
