Guillaume Halleux, chief cargo officer of Qatar Airways, has joined the Cargo Facts Symposium 2021 speaker faculty.

Halleux will speak on the opening plenary session of the conference titled, “The future of freighters: How long will demand remain strong?”

Qatar Airways currently operates the largest freighter fleet among combination carriers with scheduled passenger services, with two 747-8Fs and twenty-six 777Fs, and has vocalized its intent to become an early adopter of the next generation of large widebody freighters from either Airbus or Boeing.

Cargo Facts Symposium will be presented Oct. 25-27 at the Wynn Las Vegas. At 9:15 am on Tuesday, Oct. 26, Halleux will join fellow executives hailing from Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, ATSG, MasAir and Turkish Cargo.

Halleux started his career with Air France in 1997, and has held global posts at airlines and freight forwarders in the two decades since. He joined Qatar Airways Cargo as vice president of Asia Pacific in June 2016 and relocated to Doha to assume his current role in October 2017.

Cargo Facts Symposium is the essential event for stakeholders in the air cargo industry. Learn more and register at www.cargofactssymposium.com.
