ULDs: Going one way?

CSafe Global, which leases active thermal pallet shipping units and mobile refrigerators, has expanded its one-way trip lease options. Now customers can return a CSafe RKN, used to transport temperature-sensitive cargo, at no fee to more than half of the service centers in the CSafe network.

Additionally, new one-way options allow lessees to end their lease in an additional 20 out-of-network CSafe locations, with CSafe handling the details of returning the containier  for a small fee. Mark Mohr, CSafe’s director of partner management and customer support, said the new service will offer customers significant reductions in return logistics’ costs.
