The international freight network for independent forwarders known as the WACO System has accepted two new companies into its network: Melbourne-based International Trade Management (ITM) Pty Ltd. and Auckland-based Pengellys.
Both companies facilitate supply chain and logistics services in the China-Australia trade lane, and have offices in Australia and China.
“ITM looks forward to working with the members of WACO, adding value and creating opportunities for importers and exporters,” said John Antoniou, chief executive at ITM.
The WACO System includes 120 independent forwarders in 116 countries – an increase from 109 forwarders last year – and holds two meetings a year. It also facilitates bilateral meetings for members to network and grow their businesses.
