Cyclone WinstonAs regular readers of this website know, Cargo Facts has for some time been a supporter of Airlink, the rapid-response humanitarian relief organization that links airlines with prequalified nonprofits. Airlink is currently involved in the launch of a rapid response to bring aid to the victims of Cyclone Winston, and we hope you will help.

Cyclone Winston, one of the strongest storms on record in the South Pacific, hit Fiji early this week, downing trees and power lines, destroying buildings, and causing mudslides and road closures across the islands. So far, 42 people have been confirmed dead and tens of thousands have been left homeless. The Fiji Government  declared a 30-day state of disaster and has called for international assistance.

To lend your support, or for more information, visit the Airlink website.
