Houston-based customs brokerage and logistics company Crane Worldwide Logistics opened a new Dallas facility near the airport “in preparation for continued growth in the Dallas region in 2018 and beyond,” the company said.

The facility includes 355,000 square feet of warehouse and office space, with 5,500 rack positions for pallets, and will offer contract logistics and freight management support to Dallas-area importers and exporters.

“Our team has a wealth of experience in sectors such as energy, government services, life sciences, hi-tech and automotive and are available to assist companies with expansion in the area,” said Crane Worldwide’s chief sales officer, Tim Zubradt. The company expects strong demand at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), the city’s location in the Central Time Zone and the relatively low cost of business and affordable cost of living to support business growth in the Dallas area through 2018 and beyond.
