Cargo Facts EMEA 2021 will explore the topic of European trade during a virtual roundtable discussion titled “European Trade 2021”. The panel will be available to conference participants on-demand on Thursday, June 3, during this year’s virtual presentation of Cargo Facts EMEA.

The featured panelists include:

  • Freddie Overton, Regional Commercial Manager, Europe and Africa, IAG Cargo;
  • Nadeem Sultan, Chief Executive Officer, CargoLogicAir; and
  • Siggi Agustsson, CEO of Bluebird Nordic.

Cargo Facts EMEA 2021, taking place virtually June 2-3, will consist of both live and on-demand sessions.

CargoLogicAir and Bluebird Nordic each operate freighter fleets consisting entirely of 747s and 737s, respectively; whereas IAG Cargo, the cargo-handling division of International Airlines Group (IAG), uses the bellyhold capacity of its sister airlines’ passenger flights.

CargoLogicAir recently told Cargo Facts that, partly because of Brexit, it is considering medium widebodies for trans-Atlantic flights so it can assign its 747s more to Asia.

In this session, the speakers will discuss topics relevant to the current state of European trade, such as the impact of Brexit on cargo-only routes and approvals; European and trans-Atlantic operations; and the state of supply chains reliant on air cargo.
