Kersti Krepp, vice president of sales and marketing Asia Pacific at Polar Air Cargo, will speak at next week’s virtual presentation of Cargo Facts Asia, on a roundtable panel dedicated to developments in the cool chain sector.
The live session is scheduled for 9:00 – 9:45 am (GMT+8) on Wednesday, April 21.
Cool chain logistics has been in the public eye since late in 2020 when COVID-19 vaccine shipments began to accelerate, yet the vaccines represent a mere fraction of total temperature-sensitive goods moving by air, and airlines have long transported all kinds of other vaccines, pharma and other perishable commodities.
Krepp joins four other panelists:
- Ravishankar Mirle, Vice President Cargo Commercial Operations for Far East and Australasia, Emirates
- Nazri Othman, Senior Vice President, Cargo Services, SATS
- Kawal Preet, President, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa Region, FedEx Express
- Toshiya Tamada, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing & Sales, ANA Cargo
The five executives will discuss topics including: the state of cool chain technology; keeping perishables on the move in today’s tight-capacity environment; how the pandemic may have changed carriers’ cool chain operations; and the next wave of pharma-focused investment.
With over thirty years of experience in all-cargo airline operations, Krepp currently oversees annual sales for Polar across the Asia–Pacific region, where the carrier’s presence has expanded to more than thirty locations since she joined.
Cargo Facts Asia will take place April 20-21 as a virtual experience. To learn more, and register, visit www.cargofactsasia.com.
