Moritz Claussen, co-founder and managing director of cargo.one, has joined the Cargo Facts EMEA 2022 speaker faculty for a live panel titled, “The future of air cargo capacity sales and distribution: Is a paradigm shift on the horizon?,” at 11:30 a.m. (GMT +4) on Wednesday, May 11.
Cargo Facts EMEA will take place live May 9-11 in Dubai for the first time. The event will bring together industry experts, offering access to emerging airfreight technology and providing solutions to challenges affecting today’s air cargo market.

Claussen founded cargo.one in 2017 after a decade in the tech industry. He previously co-founded and managed the financial technology company OptioPay and was also co-founder and managing director of retail trading platform Onjo.
At cargo.one, Claussen directs global sales, marketing, customer support and airline partnerships. Since its beginnings, cargo.one has attracted customers like Lufthansa, DHL and Zeitfracht Group to the virtual cargo booking platform. IAG on March 21 became the most recent airline group to join cargo.one. Digital cargo bookings have been on the rise since 2020, the same year that cargo.one entered a deal with ANA Cargo following similar moves by AirBridgeCargo, Nippon Cargo Airlines and Silk Way West Airlines.
Claussen is from Germany and has lived and worked across the world, including Canada, China, Gibraltar, China and Spain. He is a thought leader and advocate of the digitalization of air cargo.
