Awesome Cargo is set to become the third widebody cargo operator in Mexico after taking delivery of a 2011-vintage A330-200 (1218, ex-Alitalia) in February. The airline, which expects its air operator certificate in May, intends to modify its A330-200s into full-freighter configuration with Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) in 2025 or 2026.

Prior to his role at Awesome Cargo, Ramos served as commercial director at AeroUnion. He has started a number of companies, including express forwarder Express Line Corp. and charter service Aerocharter de Mexico.
