Bluebird Nordic Chief Executive Audrone Keinyte has joined the Cargo Facts EMEA 2022 speaker faculty for the panel “Fleet modernization and expansion in EMEA Express” on Tuesday, May 10, at 3:30 p.m. (GMT +4).
Cargo Facts EMEA will take place live May 9-11 in Dubai for the first time. The event will bring together industry experts, offering access to emerging airfreight technology and providing solutions to challenges affecting today’s air cargo market.

Bluebird Nordic has distinguished itself in its fleet expansions during the past year. In January, the Iceland-based airline told Cargo Facts about its plans to enter the widebody freighter market with the registration of the first of three 777-300ERs that it plans to convert and operate as full freighters. Bluebird Nordic said it expects to have the widebodies inducted for conversion in 2024.
The widebody expansion comes on the heels of what is one of the most ambitious narrowbody freighter growth plans, with a commitment to expand to twenty-five 737-800Fs. The airline has already taken delivery of two 737-800BCFs.
Keinyte in April was appointed CEO of Bluebird Nordic as well as CEO of BBN Cargo Airlines Holdings, Bluebird Nordic’s holding company. She previously served as CEO of Novaturas, the largest tour operator in the Baltic region, where she was responsible for crisis management and reshaping the business model to a successful recovery.
Keinyte has more than twenty years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industries.
