Delta Cargo makes all services available online

Delta Cargo today joined the ranks of carriers and logistics players making traditionally phone- and paper-based services fully bookable online. The airline said it has made its entire portfolio of services available digitally and improved its tracking tools and flight search features for forwarders.

The airline joins major carriers in the push toward digitalization, including LATAM and Lufthansa Cargo, the latter of which has gone so far as to charge a fee for customers that do not choose to opt for the e-air waybill (e-AWB) when purchasing Lufthansa capacity.

Delta’s customers will be able to sort and filter cargo-specific flight schedules, utilize e-AWBs and set up recurring bookings on Delta’s website.

The airline has had a busy succession of weeks – last month entering into agreements with Korean Air and WestJet to expand its trans-Pacific and North American networks.

For information and tutorials on Delta’s online services, visit its company website.
