FedEx Express’ president and CEO, David Cunningham, (left) retired from the company after 36 years of service. Cunningham served as president of the Asia-Pacific region in Hong Kong for more than 15 years. He is succeeded by Raj Subramaniam, executive vice president and chief marketing and communications officer at FedEx.
Atlas Air has appointed Debbie Coffey to vice president and chief communications officer, a newly created role. She will be based at the airline’s headquarters in New York state and report to president and CEO, William Flynn. Coffey has 20 years of experience in global communications,most of which was spent at Avon Products, Inc.
Anne Rigail (right)Â has been appointed CEO of Air France, the subsidiary of the Air France-KLM Group, replacing Benjamin Smith, who will become director of Air France. Rigail has been with the company for more than 27 years and most recently served as executive vice president, customers at Air France.
London-based Coyne Airways has hired Tristan Koch as its new managing director, who brings 18 years of experience in the air cargo industry from senior roles at British Airways and, most recently, American Airlines, where he was managing director of cargo sales, EMEA ISC.
Charter airline Air Atlanta Icelandic has named Baldvin Hermannsson as its new CEO, upon Hannes Hilmarsson’sshift into the roles of executive chairman of Air Atlanta Icelandic and managing director of the airline’s sister company, Northern Lights Leasing. Hermansson has been with the airline since 2001 and fulfilled various position, including vice president of sales and marketing since 2008.
